This allows up to three Passports and/or a few CD's / DVD's of backed up data to be secured on top and the bottom half of both can be used to secure jewellery, cash, spare keys or other small valuables. These and other items can also be secured in the Insert Boxes at either end. To secure Birth Certificates, Insurance Policies and other documents, remove the first three Insert Boxes, place the documents in the Safe Box then, replace the Insert Boxes. NB: Up to 12 thicknesses of standard 80 gram paper can be placed under the Insert Boxes.

Vehicle Fixing Kit - It cannot be emphasized enough just how crucial it is to secure your valuable possessions in your Vehicle when you have to leave them unattended just as it is in your Residential Home, Office, Factory, Caravan or Motor Home.

Depending on where in the Vehicle the Vehicle Fixing Kit will be installed depends on which of the two styles will be used.

Steel Bracket is manufactured from 3mm thick Steel and powder coated black. The vertical backing plate of the Steel Bracket, as you can see in the picture to your left, is fitted with m5x8mm high tensile clinch studs with shake proof washers and high tensile nuts to match the existing fixing holes in the Passport Safe Docking Station.
The clinch studs are attached to the steel backing plate by pressing them through the Steel under high pressure, making the back of the steel backing plate smooth. |
The advantage of this manufacturing technique is, having no nuts on the outside of the steel backing plate ensures if a thief does break into a Vehicle fitted with a Vehicle Fixing Kit there are no nuts they can undo to remove the Passport Safe.
Depending on the Vehicle make, model, year and type depends where the Vehicle Fixing Kit is installed eg. in the boot, in the back of a Hatch Back, in the rear of a 4 Wheel Drive or Station Wagon. We have Vehicle Fixing Kits that are vertical, horizontal, on 30 and 45 degree angles.
If one of our numerous Vehicle Fixing Kits cannot be installed in your Vehicle we will custom design one for you FREE OF CHARGE.
Marine Ply
When a Passport Safe needs to be secured under a parcel shelf, flat to the floor in the boot or under the front seat we use a piece of Marine Ply.
Depending on the Vehicle make, model, year and type we have a customized Marine Ply Vehicle Fixing Kit for each. If one of our many versions cannot be installed in your Vehicle we will custom design one for you FREE OF CHARGE.

In 2006 we designed a Twin Vehicle Fixing Kit that will secure two Passport Safes. The Twin Vehicle Fixing Kit is made from the same material and manufacture and finished as per the Steel Bracket Vehicle Fixing Kit, see Steel Bracket above NB: Not available for all Vehicle makes and models.

Whether the Vehicle Fixing Kit is a Steel Bracket or Marine Ply version once the Passport Safe is slid in and locked with either an Abloy Classic or Abloy PROTEC Key the Passport Safe is absolutely secure and THEFT PROOF.
When the Passport Safe is slid into the Docking Station, that has been previously attached to the Vehicle Fixing Kit and locked with the supplied High Security Abloy Key all the fasteners used to install the Vehicle Fixing Kit are inaccessible. How ingenious is that... |

The price for the Vehicle Fixing Kit DOES NOT INCLUDE a Docking Station. If you intend to install the Docking Station that is included with each Passport Safe in your Residential Home, Office, Factory, Caravan or Motor Home and you also purchase a Vehicle Fixing Kit you will need to purchase another Docking Station to be bolted to the Vehicle Fixing Kit.
If this is the case select the appropriate Docking Station from our Price List / Secure Order Form. For your convenience, we will attach the Docking Station to the Vehicle Fixing Kit FREE OF CHARGE before it leaves our factory.
