Lexan is a General Electric trademarked Impact Modified Polycarbonate known world-wide for its great strength and extremely high impact resistance. Lexan is also Incredibly Light-Weight but as Tough as Steel and Virtually Indestructible.

A resilient memory material which makes the Passport Safe prise-proof, even assuming that a thief finds it in the first place.

Lexan Polycarbonate is so strong it is used in high security applications to manufacture products such as:

The fire resistant aspect of the Lexan Polycarbonate is a bonus to purchaser but was not the primary consideration in terms of design or application.

Please Note: In Australia regarding theft versus fire it is in the order of 820 occasions to one. That means there is 1 fire claim (that could be just a minor kitchen stove fire) to every 820 claims of theft. As you can see fire IS NOT really a major concern.
