Click here to enter for a chance to win a Passport Safe. Each Passport Safe includes four Removable Insert Boxes. The two centre Insert Boxes have a cut out that is half the height and width of each. This allows up to three Passports and/or a few CD's / DVD's of backed up data to be secured on top and the bottom half of both can be used to secure jewellery, cash, spare keys or other small valuables. These and other items can also be secured in the Insert Boxes at either end. To secure Birth Certificates, Insurance Policies and other documents, remove the first three Insert Boxes, place the documents in the Safe Box then, replace the Insert Boxes. NB: Up to 12 thicknesses of standard 80 gram paper can be placed under the Insert Boxes.

Benefits Of The Abloy PROTEC High Security Lock

Is mechanically impossible to pick.
Worlds first un-pickable lock.
It cannot be drilled.
Has a possible 1.97 billion different key combinations.
Symmetrical key, allowing key entry both ways up, this allows easy access to a Passport Safe that is installed under a low shelf, under a bed or even in unseen positions.
Includes two Super Strong, Nickel Silver, Abloy PROTEC Keys. Each pair of keys has a specific Key Code that is included with both Abloy PROTEC Keys with the Passport Safe. This Key Code must be recorded and kept secure, by the client, in a safe place because without it you will not be able to purchase additional keys or keyed alike safes. No need for a handle as the Abloy PROTEC Key can be used to pull the Safe Box from its Docking Station.

How: Remove the Passport Safe from its Docking Station by inserting the Abloy PROTEC Key into the Abloy PROTEC Lock and turn the key 180 degrees and pull. Once the Passport Safe is about 50mm (2 inches) out of its Docking Station turn the Abloy PROTEC Key 180 degrees in the opposite direction to lock the lid to the Safe Box then, hold the front of the Passport Safe to remove it completely from its Docking Station. This procedure is essential when the Passport Safe is installed to the floor, upside down such as under a bed. This ensures the contents of the Passport Safe cannot accidentally fall out when removing the Passport Safe from its Docking Station.

Additional Information About Abloy PROTEC Keys

As mentioned above the Passport Safe can be upgraded to the Abloy PROTEC (Ultra) High Security Lock and includes two Super Strong, Nickel Silver, Abloy PROTEC Keys.

The Abloy PROTEC Lock is a restricted system and additional Abloy PROTEC Keys CANNOT BE CUT at your local Locksmith. The Abloy PROTEC Key Profile is protected and owned by the Hide Away Safe Co, the manufacturer of the Passport Safe.

The Abloy PROTEC Lock includes a Key Code. New Abloy PROTEC Keys can only be cut by the manufacturer's licensed Abloy Locksmith and only with the safe owners permission with the Key Code that is included with each Passport Safe.

For future key re-orders please write your Key Code and where you purchased your Passport Safe eg. direct from Passport Safe Web Site, Melbourne Home Show etc on your original invoice and then keep your invoice somewhere safe.

We need this information if you want to purchase additional Abloy Keys in the future. The reason for this is: as purchasers use their Passport Safe to secure their valuable data in, we have to, for every Passport Safe purchasers security, ensure the person ordering additional Abloy Keys is the owner of the Passport Safe the Abloy Keys are being purchased for.
