This allows up to three Passports and/or a few CD's / DVD's of backed up data to be secured on top and the bottom half of both can be used to secure jewellery, cash, spare keys or other small valuables. These and other items can also be secured in the Insert Boxes at either end. To secure Birth Certificates, Insurance Policies and other documents, remove the first three Insert Boxes, place the documents in the Safe Box then, replace the Insert Boxes. NB: Up to 12 thicknesses of standard 80 gram paper can be placed under the Insert Boxes.

Abloy Classic 6mm (left hand) Security Lock includes a customised heavy-duty cam assembly and two Super Strong, Nickel Silver, Abloy Classic Keys. The Abloy Classic 6mm Security Lock has a possible 33 million different key combinations, it cannot be drilled, is virtually pick proof and is the standard lock fitted to the Passport Safe.

Available as:

KD (keyed to differ) eg. individually keyed Passport Safe.

Not available as:

KA (keyed alike) eg. two or more Passport Safes using the same key.
Master Key System.

Abloy PROTEC (Ultra) High Security Lock

Abloy PROTEC (Ultra) High Security Lock includes a customised heavy-duty cam assembly and two Super Strong, Nickel Silver, Abloy PROTEC Keys. The Abloy PROTEC (Ultra) High Security Lock has a possible 1.97 billion different key combinations, it cannot be drilled and is mechanically impossible to pick.

Although a Passport Safe fitted with a Abloy PROTEC (Ultra) High Security Lock costs a few dollars more we highly recommend upgrading to it from the standard Abloy Classic Lock.

Available as:

KA (keyed alike) eg. two or more Passport Safes using the same key.
Exceptional (cost effective) Master Key System, including Master, Grand Master & Grand Grand Master Keys.

Additional Information About Abloy Keys

As we have mentioned above each Passport Safe whether fitted with the Abloy Classic 6mm (left hand) Security Lock or the Abloy PROTEC (Ultra) High Security Lock include two Super Strong, Nickel Silver, Abloy Keys.

The Abloy Classic and the Abloy PROTEC locks are restricted systems and the keys CANNOT BE CUT at your local Locksmith. Both key profiles are protected and owned by the Hide Away Safe Co, the manufacturer of the Passport Safe.

Both the Abloy Classic and the Abloy PROTEC locks include a Key Code. New Abloy Keys can only be cut by the manufacturer's licensed Abloy Locksmith and only with the safes owners permission with the Key Code that is included with each Passport Safe.

For future key re-orders please write your Key Code and where you purchased your Passport Safe eg. direct from Passport Safe Web Site, Melbourne Home Show etc on your original invoice and then keep your invoice somewhere safe.

We need this information if you want to purchase additional Abloy Keys in the future. The reason for this is: as purchasers use their Passport Safe to secure their valuable data in, we have to, for every Passport Safe purchasers security, ensure the person ordering additional Abloy Keys is the owner of the Passport Safe the Abloy Keys are being purchased for.
